Kaiser Has found a new loving home.
Thanks to those that made it happen.
I'm helping Kaiser find a new home that will give him the love and attention he deserves.
Please contact me and I will exchange info with you and his owners.
Below is info the owners have given me on Kaiser.
Hi there! We bought our GSP (Kaiser) from you guys almost two years
ago. He has been a joy to our family and is a specimen of a dog, with a
perfect GSP temperment and never met a human or other dog he didn't
like! He's also great with kids! Our problem is that we had to move to
Arkansas, and are renting a house that doesn't have a fenced yard.
Some friends are keeping our Kaiser for us right now in Oklahoma City,
but he keeps escaping their yard whenever they let him outside, and
therefore is a problem. We won't have a place for him anytime in the
near future, due to our housing situation. :-/ I was wondering if you
know anyone that would like to have a perfect, beautiful, smart 2 year
old GSP, in perfect health and current on all of his shots. He was
neutered at 8 months old. Any help would be greatly
appreciated, because it
would break my heart for him to go to a lousy owner that would ignore
and/or neglect him. Thank you so much!
Before we moved last summer, he had plenty of time romping in fields and
had guns shot around him often. He was never skittish about gunfire
when we had him, though we never hunted with him. He instinctively
points and stalks birds really well, of course.
He's the fastest, most agile animal I've ever seen! He was good with
basic obedience (sit/stay/come) and played fetch with my husband really
well. He has always slept happily in a crate at night (indoors). For
the last nine months, he has been living with our friends, who have a
large backyard, but I'm not sure how often they've taken him out for
romps in a field, if it all. His main problem for our friends is his
energy level, which makes him antsy to get out to explore and run. I
will say that he has a soft mouth and used to bring us his finds
(turtles, animal bones) when he went exploring in fields. If you have
any more questions about him, please ask! You are also welcome to call
me any time. Thanks again!
I also feel I should mention that he has been a family pet for our
friends that are keeping him and for us, rather than a sporting/working
dog. I know he would love to have a "job", but he is definetly
accustomed to a lot of human companionship. He liked to curl up on the
couch with us in the evenings. :-)
I am so hopeful that you can find a good home for him, because he is
such a fun-loving, goofy, sweet guy. You know his pedigree, so you know
his potential better than anyone! I have no doubt in my mind that
someone could train him to any task, as long as they kept it fun.
